Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is a gold-medal-winning Olympic gymnast who has led team U.S. team to victories in both 2012 and 2016. She has earned six Olympic medals overall as well as being a part of two gold-medal-winning World Championships teams. Aly born in Massachusetts was captivated by gymnastics at 18 months, when she participated in a mommy and Me class. Aly has been an active supporter of body positive, and is also an active leader as well as a participant at the table. She has recently spoken out about Larry Nassar's sentencing. Aly Raisman was born in 1994, and started her gymnastics career at a very young age. She was a part of her country's U.S. Gymnastics Team win the 2011 World Championships. After that she took home two gold medals--one in the team competition, and the second in the competition for the solo floor workout--along with a bronze on the beam at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Raisman won silver in both the individual and floor finals at the 2016 Olympics at Rio. Also, she took home a gold medal in the competition for team gymnastics. Raisman confessed in 2017 she was abused sexually by a former team doctor Larry Nassar.
